Turning Waste into Wonderful
Coffee generates an abundance of waste coffee sacks, but instead of sending them to landfill, we transform them into beautiful bags. The process helps women in prison gain valuable skills and qualifications for life beyond incarceration. It’s just one of the innovative ways we reduce our environmental footprint and grow our social impact.
Supporting Prison Education
Created in partnership with women at HMP Downview, just miles from our South London office, our bags are more than accessories – they’re a catalyst for change. Winston, a former Savile Row tailor and dedicated tutor, teaches them to sew and supports their transformation. Want to join this impactful project or manufacture with purpose?
Saving Waste & Giving Opportunities
Through this innovative project, we successfully saved 19,000 coffee sacks from being discarded, that’s 6,742 kg of jute. By repurposing these materials into beautiful bags, we’ve cut 4.7 tonnes of carbon emissions, the equivalent of removing almost 1,000 cars from UK roads for a year. It’s a powerful example of how creative reuse reduces waste, shrinks our footprint, and empowers vulnerable communities.
