Ethstat supports for-purpose businesses and community groups in every region of the UK and Northern Ireland. Whether that is through our targeted procurement, giving or employment.
Orbit Group & Orbit Homes
We work with Orbit Group, a Housing Association based in the West Midlands, to provide winter warmer packs for their clients. We support several care homes in the region through the proceeds and donate dementia aides to Orbit Group to use amongst their clients. Our giving provides a clear and visible link within their community to the work we do together. This is an example of how targeted giving can spread an understanding of the social economy.
One Trafford
In Manchester, we supplied thousands of compostable food waste bags for the One Trafford consortium.
We then reinvested the surplus from that contract to support local care homes with dementia aides and provide food and catering essentials to the Feed My City project, which offers hot meals to those in need across Trafford.
This approach exemplifies how we use profit to make a direct impact—supporting communities and caring for the environment at the same time.
